Meet our speaker

Chaplain Jim White retired at the rank of Colonel after more than 31 years of active-duty service in the United States Army. Living the life of a soldier, he served alongside
paratroopers and infantrymen, earning the right to proclaim the gospel through
preaching, teaching, and pastoral care both in combat and garrison environments. He
holds a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Seminary, a Master in Strategic
Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and a Doctor of Ministry from Midwestern
Baptist Seminary, where his research focused on Biblical Resiliency. His ministry now
equips veterans and their families to recover from the physical, emotional, moral, and
spiritual wounds of war.

Stronger Together

Throughout their Army years, Leta White faithfully complemented Jim's ministry by mentoring women, teaching biblical truth, and strengthening families through wisdom and godly counsel. A graduate of the university of Oklahoma with a Master's Degree in teaching, she exemplifies a Proverbs 31 woman through her service, faithfulness and encouragement to others. Since retiring in 2012, Jim and Leta have lived in Wake Forest, North Carolina, where they serve actively in their local church, lead home Bible studies, provide biblical counseling, and minister to veterans through the Forge Bible Study—connecting them to faith, family, fulfillment, and freedom through God's Word.
