I grew up in Beaufort, North Carolina, a place that holds a special part of my heart. In 2017, I married my best friend, Perry, and it has been an incredible journey ever since. Together, we share the joy of parenting his two amazing kids—a son and a daughter—who never cease to brighten our days.

I recently achieved a personal milestone by earning an Associate of Applied Science in Public Safety Administration from Wake Technical Community College in 2024. It feels great to see my hard work pay off! When I’m not busy with family or studies, you can find me indulging in my passions for photography, gardening, and caring for animals. My two cats keep me entertained and bring a great deal of joy to our home.

On a more personal note, I like to think of myself as a late bloomer in my walk with Christ. I recall feeling a calling from God, but I didn’t fully embrace it until I made the significant decision to accept the Lord as my Savior in 2001. A verse that resonates deeply with me is 2 Corinthians 1:3-5, which beautifully captures the idea of comfort and compassion in times of trouble. It reminds me of the importance of sharing the love and comfort we receive with others.
